Remembrance Day | McCarthy Cars

Remembering the fallen

Armistice Day is one of the most important days in the British calendar, with 2018 marking a particularly poignant year. Falling on Sunday 11 November, this year’s Remembrance Sunday will commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War.

It’s an opportunity for people all over the country to remember the sacrifices made by those in the armed forces – both past and present – who fought and died in the line of duty.

Here at McCarthy Cars, we open on Sundays between 10am and 4pm, which means we’ll be observing the two minutes’ silence at 11am. We invite any customers who are visiting on Sunday, 11 November to join us in the act of Remembrance and reflect upon the impact of war.

Following the two minutes’ silence we will be continuing business as normal, so by all means feel free to visit us or get in touch to book a test drive in one of our used cars at a time that suits you.
