LITTLE TRICKS THAT YOU CAN USE TO HELP CLEAN YOUR CAR

Here’s some great little tricks for tackling some of those stubborn cleaning problems:

  1. Get your windscreen and windows really clean by using cola – Ever find that you end up with stubborn grime or greasy stains on your windows or windscreen that are really hard to shift? Try getting rid of those stubborn streaks and blotches by pouring cola over the glass. (Note: Stretch a towel along the bottom of the windscreen and windows to make sure that you protect your paintwork.) The bubbles in the cola will work away on the grime leaving nothing left. However, just be sure to use towel and not get any on your paintwork. Also, remember to wash the cola thoroughly off your windows or it’ll leave a sticky spot which will end up attracting more dust and dirt.
  2. Shine your car lights – Even though you might wash your lights with good soap and they may look clean, there may be a thin layer of grease left on glass. To help remove this consider applying window cleaner to your lights to keep them nice and clear. This will also help improve the brightness and performance of your lights.
  3. Clean your windscreen wiper blades – Often when washing our cars we forget to wash our windscreen wipers too. If they’re dirty, they can end up making streaky marks on your windscreen instead of keeping it clean and clear. To solve this, make up a solution of 1/4 cup household ammonia to 1 litre of cold water. Gently lift the blades, and wipe both sides with a soft cloth or paper towel soaked in the solution. Then, wipe the blades with a dry cloth before lowering them back into place. Simples!

I hope that you found these tips helpful.
